Sixth Form Rewards Trip

Trafford Centre
A celebratory rewards trip to Manchester on Tuesday, 8th December has been organised for the Sixth Form with students spending the morning at either the Trafford Centre or the Chill Factore and the afternoon visiting the Christmas Markets in the City Centre. Students will travel via coach leaving the Academy at 08:30 and returning at approximately 17:15. We are excited to offer this trip which we hope provides something that everyone will enjoy. The trip is open to ALL Sixth Formers but in order to receive it as a reward students need to have met the criteria as outlined below (otherwise the cost of the coach is £6.50).

In order to qualify for the complimentary coach AND activity students need to meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Met academy expectations in Year 12 AND achieved/exceeded their target grade in one or more subjects OR
  2. Fully met all academy expectations in the first half term (100% attendance and low B4L)

In order to qualify for the complimentary coach only, students must have met academy expectations and achieved over 95% attendance in the first half term.

Every student has been considered on an individual basis. Should a student wish to take part in an activity as well they are more than welcome but will need to pay £15.

Letters regarding Parent Pay have now been distributed to students, prompt payments will be very much appreciated. Parental permission reply slips COMPULSORY.

Kind regards,

Mrs Burrough (Head of Sixth Form)
